In Celebration of Ms. Teresa Nsereko's Legacy in Uganda's Fashion Scene and her lifetime contribution to Entebbe's arts and crafts, Emmanuel Cedric Ssali devoted and launched, "The Inception" in her honor.
season one
The chapter that started it all, birthed into creation piece by piece and handmade with visionary precision. What started out as just two sample sweaters, inspired a collection of 8 more pieces . The conceptional pieces were inspired from the renaissance era contrasting styles of African, Arabic & Persian decent and an Italian finish. This chapter re-imagines and surfaces the more fitted casual concepts into the modern era of menswear and also influences the oversized “boyfriend clothes” for womenswear. The collection consists of unisex styled pieces for both men and women.
Inspired by simple minimalist fashion, the first-time collection blurs the lines between the essence of the vintage royalty, kingship, knighthood style and the present day 21st century modern style.

This is a women’s shirt that can be styled as a dress. The design and cut is inspired by a mix of Traditional African Wear with a Persian touch and an Italian finish. Made of Belvedere Cotton.

DON ALESSANDRO DE' MEDICI SWEATER
The Alessandro De’ Medici sweater was the second sample that was ever made. The sweater is nicknamed “The Don” because it inspired the direction of the what the Inception Collection would look like.
